However, they won’t remember to refer you if they’ve forgotten who you are. Send your marketing materials consistently each month to stay in communication with your clients.
Call your clients. Wish them a happy new year, offer a market analysis of their home or just check in and see what’s new in their lives. It doesn’t matter why you call, just get voice-to-voice with them. And you don’t need to chat all day with them—a five-minute phone call is enough to reconnect with them.
Send personal notes. Personal notes make a fantastic follow up to a client call. A quick note to say how much you enjoyed catching up with them is sure to make their days. Or, send a personal note to check in with a client or just because.
Pop-By to your favorite people. If you didn’t get a chance to catch up with your favorite clients before the holidays, this is as good a time as any. Pop-By with a small gift sure to make them smile, and show them how much you appreciate their business and referrals.
