Time-based achievement

4. Break up large or long-term goals. Breaking big goals into smaller ones will help to ensure that you stay on track for success. These smaller, short- and mid-term goals act as milestones over the course of the year, and serve to keep you motivated to succeed.

5. Track! It’s all well and good to set a goal; if you want to achieve it, you must track your activities in order to see your progress. The benefits are two-fold—tracking allows you to see how far you’ve come and how far you have left to reach your goal.
