Summertime is a great time to mingle with your best clients at a client party. Client parties not only allow you to touch base with several of your clients at a time, they’re also a great way to show your appreciation for their business and referrals. Plus, who doesn’t love a party? If you’re thinking of hosting a client party this summer, here are some ideas.

Mid-Summer Barbeque
Break out the spatula and “World’s Best Griller” apron and invite your best clients over for a backyard barbeque. Make it a potluck and invite them to bring their favorite dishes to share. Or, supply all the food yourself and encourage them to relax and enjoy themselves. Don’t worry if you don’t have a backyard or don’t wish to host it in yours, rent out space at a local park for a few hours.

Family Picnic
Pack up some sandwiches and fun, family-friendly games and hit up the local park or other scenic spot with your A+ clients! Whether you live in the city or in a rural area, there’s sure to be a local park to meet up with and connect with your favorite people. While the kids play on the playground or with the games you brought—such as a wiffle ball set, Cornhole, etc.—the adults can mingle and chat, and most importantly, sing your praises.

Sunset Cruise
If big gatherings aren’t your thing or you connect better with smaller groups of people, chartering a boat for a cruise at sunset might be the way to go. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or you hire someone to sail while you mingle, you’ll allow your clients to connect with one another and learn more about them.
