• Share your knowledge of the local real estate market. As the expert of your local market, you know what homes are selling for, how long they stay on the market and the ins and outs of each neighborhood. While your clients may have access to much of this information, they may not know how to interpret it. This gives you the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise.
• Flex your skills as an agent. Although sharing your knowledge is important, it’s also important to show your care and concern for your clients. For sellers, listing a home can be an emotional experience. After all, they have many memories ties to the home. Similarly, there are times when buyers need reassurance and guidance during the process. This is your opportunity to listen and show them that you care.
• Connect your clients to professionals in your network. Enlist the aid of your network to help your clients prepare for the real estate process. Connect your buyers with an experienced mortgage lender, and with other home professionals after the transaction has closed. Connect your sellers with repairmen, painters, landscapers, etc. This will reinforce your role as the hub of your network.
• Build your relationship with your clients. Every time you contact your clients, you build the foundation of your relationship. Offering your clients a wide range of services reinforces your professionalism and shows your clients that you care.
